So I like soup. I eat it several times a week for lunch. Last week I noticed that every time I went to get soup, I struck up an impromptu conversation with another person getting soup. They were all fun, affable conversations, mostly about the soup. I've really only had this consistently happen when I'm getting soup. Ergo, I am concluding that people who enjoy fresh soup, are fun and easy going people.

In other news, I feel great since the inauguration! I don't think it was cooler than the moon landing, but it was still pretty awesome. Anyone but Bush would have been great, but the fact that it's someone who seems like they're going to be a great President is even better. Here's my wishlist for Obama's presidency:

• Be tough on Israel (please...someone? anyone?)
• Repeal Bush tax cuts (Wonder if this is still possible)
• Moratorium on congressional lobbying
• Use part of his "mandate" to make congress get something...anything done
• Keep Pakistan from imploding and turning into Afghanistan
• Nationalized healthcare!
• No more bailouts plz k thx
